Sinogy is committed to customer satisfaction and complies with all South African consumer protection regulations, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). This Returns & Refunds Policy is designed to provide transparency and clarity for all customers.
1. Return Period
Customers may return eligible products within 30 days of delivery for a refund, replacement, or store credit. The return period begins on the date the product is delivered.
Products returned after this 30-day period may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, products must:
- Be in their original, unused condition
- Include all original packaging, accessories, and documentation
- Be free from damage, modifications, or signs of use
Products not meeting these requirements may be refused or subject to a partial refund at Sinogy’s discretion.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Items damaged due to misuse, accidents, or improper installation
- Custom or special-order products (if applicable)
- Products missing original packaging or accessories
4. Refunds
Once a return is received and inspected, Sinogy will notify the customer of the approval or rejection of the refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Exchanges
Customers may request an exchange for the same product or an equivalent item. Exchanges are subject to stock availability and eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
6. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by Sinogy, such as:
- Incorrect item shipped
- Damaged or defective product
We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe return of items.
7. Damaged or Defective Products
If a product arrives damaged or defective, please notify Sinogy within 48 hours of delivery. We may request photographs or other evidence to assess the issue.
Sinogy will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to the customer.
8. Legal Compliance
This policy complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), which guarantees customers the right to receive goods that are of good quality, safe, and as described. All statutory consumer rights are fully respected.
