Sinogy is an existing organization having its office address at 10 Saddle Drive, Woodmead Office Park, Woodmead, Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa (herein after called "Sinogy"). Sinogy has been appointed as the sole engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) entity for a Solar Energy Project.
The scope of project will be that of a Centralized Utility Scale Solar PV Plant (up to 20 MW) and multiple Decentralized/Distributed Rooftop Solar PV Hybrid Systems (herein after called "Project"). The Decentralized PV Plant will be distributed to around 10,000 private Homes/Dwellings with a capacity of 3KW or 5KW, among which, depending on the areas will either On-Grid or Off-Grid. Sinogy plans to use the existing Grid for power transmission.
The extension of the Electric Grid and Substation upgrade will also form part of the Project. Both the Centralized PV Plant and the Decentralized Systems will include Batteries for storage of Electricity to use during no sun-shine times. The batteries shall be based on Lithium technology with higher recharge cycles. 100 hectares of empty land will be allocated for the implementation of the Centralized PV Plant.

Based on the Request for Information, Request of Proposal will be released shortly since the Project is urgent.
Any potential supplier who responses to this Request for Information may be invited to bid for the Request For Proposal and a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will need to be signed between two parties.
